I. LOVE. THIS. GAME. (A True Story) (Critics are raving) (It's ok, 9/10 - IGN)

I absolutely love Destiny and have only have a couple complaints. One being that the game simply doesn't have enough content to keep me interested for the entire life span of an expansion. That is easily fixed by getting to where you want to be so for me that was getting all my characters to 318+ then putting the game down for a bit until new content comes out. Once you have done it all iron banner, trials, and the brief stint with sparrow racing was all good but the next installment of the game needs to release multiple raids or "instances" that come out periodically throughout the expansion much like wow does with their raids. Easily put, you do a raid and get gear, then a new one comes out and you get more, and so on and so fourth usually with each part having a mini story that will eventually lead to the final showdown. I find it quite odd that the game allows you to down the final boss after the game has been out for a week rather then leaving the suspense up for a while. I understand some people would not be down for something like that (everyone's different) but there needs to be some progression to the end rather than a short story line beaten in under two hours to a raid where you down the boss. Hard mode is a decent way of keeping people entertained but in the end it is simply the same thing and in the case of TTK a few very minor mechanics. To say Destiny is one of the greatest games ever made is a slight stretch and to assume that the new form of Destiny will blow our minds is also a possible hope crusher. In my opinion I see the current form of Destiny as almost a Beta environment for the upcoming game. There were and are still are glaring issues with the game and the fact that they came out with Sparrow racing for three weeks only to take it away seems like they are trying it out to see if it would be viable in the new game. I expect more of this kind of thing to occur as well to help make a polished product with actual community testing. What worries me is that the game hasn't shown that they are trying to change their current model in anyway. They did improve by leaps and bounds when it comes to story but and the game play has never been in question (it is fantastic) but even with TTK the longevity of each expansion is not that long other than re doing repetitive stuff to obtain gear you may or may not get. I know not everyone has the ability or the team to obtain high light level gear but a decent chunk of the community can. Court of Oryx for example was a colossal fail and the lag issues in the Crucible almost make it unplayable when you know even if you have the ability to go flawless and have done it many times before there will be that one team that is unbeatable because they take no damage and blink around the map. I really do love this game and I hope they improve on certain things for the next installment.
