Whenever people post about somebody being harassed for something, the ambiance definitely starts shifting towards "Everybody needs to shut the fuck up. It doesn't matter if you aren't harassing people, even your critique is enough to stoke the fire."

Which is not healthy at all, because it's incredibly easy to use that as a cudgel to hammer out any dissenting voices you want. Just claim that even proper critique is giving fuel for harassers to continue what they are doing (which is insane), and boom, get rid off anyone you don't like. It doesn't matter if their critique was as mild as "I would have preferred if Tiki had different clothes." Get them out of here.
