Love, Morriage, Boby?

I don't want to invalidate you or say your plans are wrong or bad. You are in charge of how comfortable you feel about things like that. I just wanted to say this first to set the tone of my comment, not as critical, but just conversational.

What your mom went through is pretty rare. How many people do you know who have announced a pregnancy on social media (presumably at 12 weeks, the usual time for the risk of miscarriage to drop below like 5%) and then had to take it back? I know of one, but they announced knowing their son had a heart condition and may die before he was born. They wanted their friends to help them through their hard time, which is a personal choice they made and I'm not saying that's something everyone should do. I announced at 16 weeks because I was terrified of having to announce a miscarriage, so I know where you're coming from, but I think waiting until birth seems a little extreme if that's your only concern. Plus after birth a lot of things could go wrong anyway (my daughter was born with an injury that we didn't know about), and then SIDS risk for a few months after that... Having kids is just scary.
