I love pretty much anything on the menu. But here are a few suggestions/this is why. Your Experiences: 1. The fries being bland. I never get fries but if you do ask them to be cajun fries. While bojangles has the same if not better cajun fries thats the move. 2. I generally dont get burgers there but how is it average among other fast food? Other places are factory pre-made patties. Cookout is a REAL burger that has like 20 toppings you can put on it in a very 5 guys-ish type of way. Although not quite on their level. 3. As many others have said i think you got unlucky generally their milkshakes are soo thick you need a spoon not only because of the icecream itself but if you get lets say a snickers milkshake its usually giant chunks if not a whole fucking bar in there. What to get/Why: 1. Past few months Ive been getting a beef or chicken quesadilla tray. Now before you freak out, yes i also assumed it would be pretty shit but figured fuck it and tried one. They put this like weird spicy/tangy sauce on it and its literally the best quesadilla Ive ever had from anywhere hands down. I wish I could buy the sauce I'd put it on everything. 2. For my sides I generally get 2 cajun wraps and I get the cups of honey mustard to dip them in. 3. It's titties because all of that and a large drink is like $5.50 and you can sub in/out between like 15 other things and its about the same while if you go to damn near any other fastfood place and order a combo you are gonna pay minimum $6-$10 and come out with less food than a tray.

In the end its one of the best because its actually fresh and for prices you cant beat. I think a lot of the love at least for me is while in college cookout is like THE GO TO after a party/club everytime no exceptions. So if you are in the university area and you happen to drive by one around 2 am on a friday chances are there are like 100 people crowded on the benches.
