A low dose of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) - the active compound in cannabis - promoted stress resilience and reduced anxiety-like symptoms in mice that were previously vulnerable to stress

I'm from Belgium.

Several years ago a new right-wing government was voted into office. Prior governments didn't consider cannabis something all that problematic.

The new one does. We have this revolting asshole as a mayor who will cling to any possible justification in order to expand law enforcement authorities. I'm completely free to go out and drink myself into a coma if I'm so inclined, but if I even dare to take a puff I'm prone to persecution.

I suffer from both ADD and Aspergers syndrome, and I'm prescribed capsules of amphetamine sulphate who mitigate the symptoms somewhat but make you wired as fuck, not to mention come with a ton of side effects.

Cannabis is just about the only medicine that allows me to function normally but these sad old corrupt FUCKS we have in our government frantically want to keep it suppressed, probably because the richest family in our nation is the one that owns and controls Inbev, one of the largest breweries in the world. They won't have any competition, you see.

SHAME ON YOU, BELGIUM.
