[Low Effort Sunday] Its utterly absurd how people get angry at Deku from MHA from accepting having superpowers

Sure, because at the current point, between strengthening himself to use OFA at higher levels as well as Eri reversing time on Deku, he's managed to get past the point it's a danger, just like how Kenshin got past the point where he risked becoming the Battousai, how Tsukune eventually got a handle on the whole ravenous ghoul thing, Sasuke got a handle on the Cursed Seal, etc.>

His use of Eri is a one time deal and his additional quirks are more or less a cheat to avoid the consequences and it is not really comparable to any of those examples.

For instance. kenshion fights against his battousai persona as a means of redeeming and fighting for peace and Justice and even then he succeeds do to the efforts of his own friends. Tsukune a avoided becoming a ghoul by literal becoming a vampire and. Cursed seal actually succeed in corrupted Sasuke, by tempting him with the power needed to get his revenge.

Touche, but I don't think it's being used poorly here. I think it's being used adequately. It heightened tension for a few fights, forced Deku to begin to diverge from All Might's path onto his own, served its purpose and was then no longer an issue. I don't think it was necessarily used brilliantly here, but it's a passably fine application of the trope.>

and a repeated lack of consequences diminishes that tension. Especially if the audience already predicts that Deku is of no threat of losing his regardless how many times he breaks them

The hero that Gentle crashed into didn't appear out of thin air. That Gentle didn't bother to look around to take stock of the situation before rushing in is a failing on his part, if not a moral one. Simply put, Gentle's help wasn't needed in that situation.>

And how exactly was Gentle was suppose to spot a hero that was literal behind a tall burning out of sight of everyone and only flew over that building after gentle used his cushion?

In Izuku's situation though? Help was needed, and nobody was giving it, until he rushed in. He may not have had a plan, but he did recognize that he was the only person there who was actually going to do something about it.
