LPT: If you're planning on moving, don't buy any cardboard boxes. Go to your local grocery store and ask for their leftover cardboard boxes. They will usually give it to you for free since you save them the hassle of breaking them down!

Can confirm. I was a manager at a huge liquor store near a college town. To give you perspective of how large the store was, it used to be a 2 story supermarket. So we had thousands of types of wine, liquor, and beer. The amount of boxes we had was staggering. We stacked the empty boxes next to the window and close to the registers for easy access for when people bought a 6+ bottles of liquor or wine at a time, which was often.

We still couldnt get rid of the boxes until the college students realized around move-in/ move out day that they had none. I think we got rid of 300 boxes in 4 days because of them. AND THEY KEPT COMING BACK. Lots of people said these boxes were better than the ones the school and UPS had. We lost so many boxes that we actually had to stop giving them away
