LPT: It is important to know when to stop arguing with people, and simply let them be wrong.

One of the terrible things I learned about Reddit's blocking system is that it doesn't actually block. What it does is it hides their ongoing replies and responses from you.

So let's say someone is stalking you, and replying to everything you post with a belligerent/rude negative remark. And you block them. And you notice that your subsequent posts -- over days, weeks -- seem to struggle to get good replies or struggle to get any upvotes or notice that you used to enjoy. Well... unblock that stalker and watch in amazement as you see all their replies suddenly appear on your posts. They can continue to dog you, downvote you, say lies about you, reveal personal info about you, and anything else, and you won't know it.

Do NOT use Reddit's blocking system. It only blocks you from seeing the shit they're pulling. It leaves you in the dark and unable to counter any bullshit that they post. It could even be dangerous if the person starts doxxing you and you don't see it.

Do not use Reddit's blocking system.
