LPT: Want a new feature on your iPhone? Become an android dev and add the feature to android, then wait a few months.

I went through your claims and showed where you are wrong. Maybe Google does have its own phone with a perfect version of Android, but if only a small minority of users have that model, the general user experience will be completely different. Nexus released months too late, and didn't even have an announced release date when I got my phone. The latest Nexus was behind the market and very clearly not the best phone to buy, according to all the reviews and sources for research. Only an idiot would buy a Nexus at that point - but sometimes even an idiot stumbles into the right decision for the wrong reasons.

"Keep comes preinstalled". Maybe in the Nexus version, but not in all versions. Why would Google allow companies to modify the product to make it inferior?

"Android is literally a swipe down from the top and you have a slider there." Except when that's not true. Again, if that is optional, why would Google allow OEMs to make the product worse?

"If you want the new android, download it and install it." Except you actually can't. Not sure where you do your research, but that's just not possible for the vast majority of users. Maybe for you, but not for the vast majority.

"What Android is 11gb?" The one I posted the screenshot for. It's right there in the screenshot, plain as day. How do you think a copy of Android is that big? Motorola doesn't make the extra size appear out of pure magic.

That's why Apple keeps it's iOS to itself. Google could limit OEMs abilities to damage the customer experience, and it's Google's fault for not setting standards. Microsoft learned this years ago and, because they saw how shitty OEMs can be at making drivers, Windows controls a lot of hardware itself unless it can verify that OEM's drivers actually work.

But, you've already proven that you would rather be an asshole than actually have a conversation.
