Watch out for comingled inventory these days. Even "shipped from and sold by Amazon," you might get something from a 3rd party.
Amazon treats all products in their warehouses which have the same SKU (ASIN) as interchangeable. That means if Amazon itself put 5 units in a warehouse, and Billy Bob Electronics shipped 5 units to the same warehouse -- Amazon puts them in the same bin. If you order one you may get Amazon's or Billy Bob's, and Amazon claims not to be able to differentiate. If Billy Bob is sourcing grey market or counterfeits, you may get the short end of the stick.
It happened to me twice when I tried to order a Galaxy smartwatch. They took them back without issue, but still frustrating.
