LPT: Order groceries through Walmart for pick up (it's free) and order store brand items. Whenever they are out of stock you will automatically get upgraded (for free) to name brand items.

I have been using Walmart Delivery for years because I don't drive. I always justified the delivery cost as just part of the cost of not owning a car.

Recently they offered a flat rate membership price. Something like $12 a month or $98 a year. I did the quick math and if I order weekly then the $98 offer is only $1.88 per week compared to the $7-9 I was fine with paying before.

It also gives me the freedom to get an impromptu midweek delivery without feeling like I'm going to overbudget on the delivery fee, because it's already paid for no matter how often I use it.

I was so stoked when it came out and highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't drive or could otherwise benefit from a delivery service.
