LPT: regarding housing, modes of transportation, etc, you will be much happier going for the option that is in a less fancy category but really nice than you will be going for the dirt cheap sketchy option that is a categorical upgrade

If you're in the market for an absolutely terrible car there's a solid chance that an alternative mode of transport would fill your needs.

Pork chops: $3

Green beans: $2

Chocolate bar: $1.50

Apple: $1.00

Bread roll: $0.49

Add coarse salt and ground pepper to both sides of the pork chop. Put it in a pan with a pat of butter and some vegetable oil. Sear 3-4 minutes on both sides while basting with a spoon.

Cut the ends off the green beans and wash them. Boil a 1/4 cup of water in a saucepan. Add the green beans, cover, and cook on medium heat for 3 minutes. Remove the cover, throw in half a tablespoon of oil, cook uncovered for 1-2 minutes. Add salt and pepper.

Cut the apple into slices and arrange in a flower petal pattern on a small plate. Freeze the chocolate for ten minutes so it doesn't melt in your hand, and use a butter knife to shave it over the apple slices.

You've now made a nice dinner. I mean dang you can buy a decent strip steak for like $7. You can buy a solid piece of salmon for $5. It's not rocket science. Look at budget dinner lists on sites like allrecipes. Look at /r/eatcheapandhealthy. There's more to cooking than tortillas and beans.

I know multiple people in medical school who started out at state colleges, and have had coworkers making minimum wage with private school degrees.

I am within a few miles of a subway system that gets me anywhere I want to go including the airport. You can always rent a car for a weekend trip.

And lol the "Cheers" at the end.

I know I said in my post that I wouldn't respond to stuff like this but geez you put so much effort into trying to shoot me down. And I put a lot of effort into my post as well but it was with a positive intention; I wanted to share something that I thought was helpful.

What motivated you to put so much time into trying to discredit that? Then regarding the tone at the end, why do you want to make a random stranger feel bad about themselves? What does it do for you?

I don't think you are correct in your dissension, but when people do what you just did with the attack essay, in response to something so innocuous... It's not something that I really get the point of.

Like great, the stranger read your sassy comment, congratulations.

Anyways I guess you are free to do that sort of thing and thanks for reading my post.
