LPT: Start a "Make Life 1% Better" Fund

Two counter points:

  1. This sounds a lot like a hedonic treadmill. You keep spending more to improve your life as you start to earn more, but at a certain point, you just kind of normalize and lose any boost to happiness, while your costs are now just higher. Maybe this isn't exactly what you meant, but it's something to watch out for.

  2. I have ADHD and have bought some of the different things for hobbies, the blender, etc, and it's dangerous because I'll use them all the time for like 2 weeks and then never touch them again. The only real things (in this type of area) that have been worthwhile for me to invest in are computer parts and my 3d printer (which I've surprised myself by using consistently for 2 years now)
