LPT. Stop including your manager/supervisor on every initial minor request to coworkers. If the request is denied or ignored, then include them

I dunno man, if I don't cc my department manager when I'm asking for IT help the shits not gunna get done. Just seems like IT ignores the once a month I have to email them and ask for help. Most my requests aren't forgotten emails or basic shit it's like hey the program you guys made is glitching out can you fix this? And I just get completely ignored.

Also ccing my boss shows that I am working to solve the problem without going to them, which I assume they appreciate (alot of people go to their boss for basic issues).

Sorry dude ccing the boss is easily the best way to prove you're working and get IT to actually do their jobs in a timely manner.
