LPT: Teenagers, if you have a toxic friend, cut them off.

My sister is 24 and she recently had a friend who had some hard times. She invited her to move up from California to Seattle, WA and put her up and help her find a job and she did. To her credit she DID get a job pretty quickly. However, she then moved a dog into their small 2 bedroom apartment. Ok, that's fine. I thought it was crazy but it's just a little chihuahuah so whatever. In fact, it went so well my sister went out and (crazy bitch that she is) got a kitten! Well, that went surprisingly fine as well. Their tiny apartment became overrun with animal stink and mold, but hey, whatever, to each their own.

That's when things took a turn for the dark side. First off, her friend is a klepto and keeps getting kicked out of bars for stealing shit. Like stupid shit, too. My sister and her friend have now been banned from half the bars in her neighborhood, which is pretty bad since my sister is pretty fucked up too and has herself been banned from the other half... It makes it hard to go out with her when we are so limited to places where people don't hate one of them...

Then her friend brought home "the family dog". Yes, there was already a cat and a chihuahuah but now she brought home a huge labrador and this one wasn't well trained. It would shit in the apartment and she didn't walk it. Apparently she's only walked it a handfull of times and it just shits everywhere. Their apartment smells like animal feces now. And to make matters worse the dogs have fleas and her friend refuses to flea treat them. In turn my sisters cat (who is flea treated) keeps getting worms from the fleas on the dogs, but her friend refuses to believe that's the cause despite being giving a note from an actually vet. The truth is, she simply doesn't want to pay to have her dogs deflead or wormed. She doesn't even walk them.

So their apartment is full of wormy dog fleas and feces and she wont do anything about it. My sister has finally started trying to get her to move out, ut she wont go. So my sister is tasked with finding her a place. It's a pretty sad situation.
