LPT: When you know you've fucked up and need to apologise, do not try and explain your actions.

When I give a reason for things going wrong, it is to demonstrate that I understand why and can avoid taking the same actions in the future.

you come across as a defensive prick who has not yet taken responsibility for your own actions

YOU come across as someone who abuses people who have wronged you, that scolds everyone as though they were children, and who is not satisfied until that person feels worse than they needed to. I know people like this and the lot of you can get fucked.

Calling people "defensive" is a shitty and awful tactic that abusers do in order to make it so the people who they are abusing don't get closure and feel guilty in perpetuity and why 20 years after something happens, we go to sleep still feeling guilty about something that didn't even fucking matter 20 years ago.

Get fucked, OP.
