Plot: Post Apocalyptic. Greys and Purples live side by side with peace for now on a few conditions. The clans are theoretically equal, but the lure of the lifestyle of the two draws many to convert.
The Purple's believe clicking brings about a change in a human. Their spirit begins to transcend humanity achieving near godhood. They believe once enough people have clicked, and none can click once more, purples will ascend to heaven, receiving their proper elite rank.
What the grey's discover is that if the Great Timer runs out, humanity is doomed, as a great beast will rise to destroy humanity. There is lore throughout human scripture of this beast.
In Rabbinical text, he is called Leviathan, a scaly, serpent like creature, mentioned millenia ago in Job.
Mongol lore calls him the Death Worm- or, specifically, his tentacles are called Worms of Mortality.
In Hinduism, he is called Shiva, the multi appendaged destroyer.
In Norse, he is called the Kraken. His size was underestimated, but the Norse were still the closest to his appearance. They did however, mistakenly separate him from the event of Ragnarok, Norse end times.
Today....we call him Cthulu.
In the Summer of 1926, a writer named H.P. Lovecraft began research into the arcane. In a ritual among friends, he accidently opened a small timer portal. A door. Inside was a colossus. A monster of vaguely anthropoid outline, but with an octopus-like head whose face was a mass of feelers, a scaly, rubbery-looking body, prodigious claws on hind and fore feet, and long, narrow wings behind. Lovecraft spent centuries in that portal, communicating with this omnipotent, malevolent being. When he emerged, ready to tell his story, he found that exactly one minute of our time had passed. He was the only survivor.
60 decades have passed since Lovecraft's great discovery. Our year 2526. A single grey must convince the elitist purples that their Great Ascendence is a lie, and that we must band together to hold off the timer until Cthulu's arch rival Hastur (Aka Behemoth) can be awakened to combat him.
