Lucasfilm Games is the team at Lucasfilm that's been working with EA on Star Wars games for years now! [Jason Schreier]

You’re just selecting which numbers make your point. You can’t pretend a major sales loss is something they shrug off just because “it’s still good.” A downward trend that big matters a lot to a publicly traded company. A company like Hello Games can surf on a big launch despite the reception because it’s a very small private company. EA is a very big, very expensive outfit. Losing a third of your audience may still get your money back today, but it’s very, very bad news for tomorrow. You’re focusing so hard on the numbers that you think make your point, but you’re really just sinking it and making the counterpoint to your own argument.

14 million is good. 9 million is good. But when you put those numbers back to back in the same series, that is not good.

But why even speculate when you can go straight to the source? EA—again, a publicly traded company—said themselves that B2 underperformed.

That’s not just Reddit talk. Saying that isn’t significant is.
