I'm tired of seeing men all the time in historical stories. The British Isles has plenty of bad ass queens and the OG, Boudicca! Maybe American history has gotten better as well in the last 35 years ago. But the British Isles offered a much more interesting history to a young lady. Lots of white men in wigs and weird hats, in our political history.

British tv had me at Blackadder when I was in primary school. My Dad and I watched Monty Python shown on our Publicly Funded TV network. History and historical humor/fiction are a valuable service British public tv, worldwide.
