Hey Ludacris!

I have been a massive fan of rap ever since my friend introduced me to the Marshall Mathers LP. In the universe there are only a few bright stars surrounded by a crowd of emptiness and to me that’s what rap is like at the moment, it is filled with a few amazing talents but polluted with rappers who have run out of things to say so they recycle the same songs over and over again and in my honest opinion they are killing the whole rap scene but you, you are one of the brightest star out there in the ‘ludaverse’. How do you feel about what rap has become? Do you think your comeback will start ‘Disturbing tha Peace’ in rap?

A guy once told me ‘if you had, one shot or one opportunity To seize everything you ever wanted in one moment Would you capture it, or just let it slip?’ this may be the only shot I ever get to becoming what I can be and no way in hell am I going to let this chance slip out of my hand. I have written some rhymes to the instrumental of mockingbird by Eminem I wrote it when I was in a dark place in time and would love to know what you think. If you do think it is any good then please can you help me elevate myself to a new height?

My rhymes to the mockingbird instrumental:

I’ve been trying to find

a reason in my mind

for my existence

insisting instead of taking my life in this insane instance

that my life has a meaning

coz all your gonna end up doing

is ruining being a human being

the best you could be

so listen to me, pass all your pain onto me

well get through it together youll see

fear is only temporary

but life is forever

however bad you feel it wont last forever

so never say never

guess thats a bit contradictory

contrary to popular belief

suicide is not the only thing that can give you relief

Believe me when i say

there are better ways

to go about your days

that can make you smile

coz we get stronger every mile

we walk so lets just talk this through

and let me walk with you

and to be honest with you

theres no difference between me and you

were really the same there is a lot of shit that i have been through too,

just like you

but i carry on

hoping for a better tomorrow

hoping for a day where i forget all my sorrows

if you are prepared to lose your life now

what do we really have to lose if we carry on?

am i in the wrong

for wanting you to be strong?

Yeah I know that life can be like a rollercoaster

Being dropped

is fun every once in a while

But how are you supposed’ta

Continue life when youre constantly being dropped

Yet you still try to smile

To try and show the world that you are still happy inside

But all they gotta do is to take one look in your eyes

To realize

The bruised soul that’s locked up inside

Doesn’t have too long

Till it gives up, cant hold on

No longer

The only option now is to get stronger

Or just let go

And end it all

Fight or flight

Survive or die

Tonights the night

That you decide

If you chose to live your life

then dont let any mother fucker run your life

Decide to let go

your life will spiral down out of control

till you cant take it no more

and fill up your body with alcohol to beat the depression

pop a few pills to get over the pain of oppression

thats when you accidentally overdose

2 weeks later youre on the floor stone cold

mother, father, brother and sister all crying trying to wake you up but they cant no more.
