Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon now boots in Citra.

This is getting ridiculous What was done was that people assembled a pile of hacks and unfinished ideas to "fix" the games, and just because it works doesn't mean it works. I could hack Dolphin to boot and run Star Wars: The Clone Wars right now at the expense of other titles.

Why not wait until the game really boots and they understand what the game actually wants instead of just taking some random shit from a pull request for fake internet points.

I'm not just calling out you, but a whole bunch of people that have been getting on my nerves. This is fucking out of hand. Maybe the first release of Citra should be called "Citra 1.0 + CRO + ShaderJIT + Audio_WIP + HD + More!" I get that it's fun to tease stuff once in a while (hell, I've done it too on the devs behalf!) but really?

Anyway, I'm going to apologize again of time for taking this out on you, you're just the latest of many. If people want a good 3DS emulator instead of a pile of hacks, they need to stop this now. Users do hold some power of the development of emulators as they should, but by posting every little detail as soon as it shows up, changes are getting rushed.

And let me tell everyone: this habit has affected some other developers about the future of open source emulators. If this is how users are going to treat things, maybe it's better to not be open source to prevent this exact situation. I really do think in the long term this will damage Citra's ability to be an accurate emulator. Users are basically saying "We'd rather have per-game hacks that let us play games now." And if the devs cave in for that popularity, maybe we'll end up with great things like checking what game is running to apply various patches from various builds that don't work on other games and stuff like that. You know, the stuff the PCSX2 devs are working so hard to remove and clean up right now. The stuff that many N64 emulators seem to be still entrenched in.
