Luis comments on wanting to buy /r/opieandanthony [18:48]

What integrity? Take another look at what he wrote.

Paragraph 1: I wouldn't sell the subreddit because I didn't believe that Luis had access to the money .

I happen to like Luis, like he said we grew up in the same place (Rockland County) got some similar friends. But there is no way they would have raised $10 grand to buy the subreddit. Who would be throwing in this money these open mic comedians who nobody knows. Any of the big name comedians? Opie, Anthony, The cheap ass fans? Half the fans don't pay for these shows.

Paragraph 2: I didn't sell the subreddit because I lack charisma

Also I didn't want to be in on a podcast bit. I suck on the radio and podcasts. I spared everyone buy not going on their show.

Paragraph 3: I didn't sell the subreddit because it's against the rules and I thought I'd have gotten caught and he'd want his money back.

If I would have sold him this subreddit the admins would have found out and then banned the subreddit. Leaving him without a subreddit and me with 10 grand that he would probably want back.

Then, bizarrely, Paragraph 4 is a sort of chest-thumping rallying cry.

In sum, /u/SpaceEdge didn't sell out because: (1) he didn't think he'd get paid; (2) he didn't want to do a podcast and wasn't confident in his broadcasting abilities; and (3) it was against the rules and Luis would probably want his money back after the jig is up. I guess those are all good reasons, but none of them really have all that much to do with integrity. It has to do with not thinking that you're going to get or keep your bribe money and not wanting to hassle with the conditions of getting your bribe money.

(For the record, if I were the head mod of this place and I could get $10k for selling it and doing so wasn't against the rules or I didn't think I'd get caught I'd sell it in a second. But I don't claim to have reddit integrity.)
