Lump under my breast- my pcm said to monitor it for the next month

The reason I don’t trust their opinion much is because I saw it first hand with a coworker of mine. I asked my coworker what had been happening with him, as he has been going to talk to leadership for the past few days straight. He told me that Basically what happened was he came back from deployment and he had this really sharp pains in his chest, he felt he couldn’t breath and the pain came and went. When he went to his PCM, he told him it was nothing and he sounded fine. Fast forward a few months later, the pain continues and the breathing problem continues. He goes back to the PCM and this time the PCM tells him that he’s making this issues up and if he doesn’t stop, he’s gonna accuse him of malingering. My coworker, distraught at this entire thing goes to patient advocacy. Somehow he ends up going to a civilian doctor and what do you know.... they did tests on him and found that he has some sort of thing in his heart. A bubble or something along those lines.
