To the lurking managers/bosses/owners/etc

I’m none of those things. But I am very highly paid. Probably more than many bosses. It seems to me like I was born into a system where economic success is an elaborate game, that I was trained at a very early age to play. Not a fun game. Sorta like Squid Game. But if I play it, things work out. I don’t spend much time working at all. Less than 8 hours a day. Usually around 4. But I do spend time cultivating status in social circles and things.

I empathize with all the stuff here. I don’t think it’s a fair game. I think the idea that the game is about hard work is stupid. It’s not. It’s cruel that people think work is the solution. But I do sometimes think people here are like: “this game sucks. I don’t wanna learn it.” And I feel sad about that. Same way I feel sad for people who give up on dating, fitness or any other aspect of their life.
