Excuse me? You really believe this bull****!? this is PEGIDA propaganda of the finest.

Making you believe they are being supressed so you cant hear the(ir) "truth". I really wonder how it could have been released by DW???

There are two things:

1. Of course the media here is controlled. But its not nearly as bad as in lots of other countries. And it needs to be controlled. They actually measure this thing somewhere. Freedom of press.

And the second telltale this is propaganda: This article is really all about the immigration crisis - not what its headline says.

We all here in germany know that immigrants WILL cause a lot of problems. I dont know how our media does not report this on an almost daily basis? Mistakes happen of course. But systematic? COme on..! By whom?

Of course there is a huge fear of neo-nazis here. Sometimes even hysterial. True ... (thats a really much more interesting point about the german press which should be questioned at some time).

But here the point is: PEGIDA are kind of assholes. Its not just a political opinion. They are HATERS. Thats why they are shoved by the press. They are not only afraid of immigrants (which is understandable and which IS reportet in the press). But they also proagate hate speeches, racism and even demands to kill people.

And I know its different in the USA, where its allowed to say things like this in public. But here in germany it's not allowed. We've had too many bad experiences with this kind of reasoning.

But I agree. We need to take these people serious as you can see how far they are willing to go. We have to sort the ones out, that are just afraid. And we should make sure their needs are heard and responded to, too. They have some very good points. It will NOT be easy with all these refugees.

But we must not listen to the guys who tell you the refugees are all criminals or terrorists or actually go out and throw molotov cocktails on refugee camps.
