I 'm [30M] and am still yet to find my 1st girlfriend. How do I find out what the problem is?

With all these things you tried was it either look for a girlfriend or try to pretend you were looking for nothing? How are you at hooking up, casual dating, finding a friend with benefits, etc.? If you are always looking for a serious girlfriend and suspect that your standards may be too high I wonder if you are a.) conveying to prospective partners that they must be committed to you immediately or feel an instant connection or be 100% sure they want something serious with you to move forward (which can scare off people who may otherwise be interested in you if you come across that way on the first few dates) or b.) rejecting people because they do something on the first few dates that you have trouble reconciling with this idea you have of what your girlfriend should be (which might be shooting yourself in the foot if you haven't actually had a girlfriend because, realistically, how do you even know that what you think you want is actually what you want or what is most compatible for you in a partner long term?). If you haven't tried casually dating, just looking for someone you'd want to spend a few nights with who wants the same, etc. I'd suggest trying that and seeing what happens.
