I’m giving it a chance, you?

That's not at all the reasoning though. It's a combination of this trying to spinned as misogyny like you just did, when in reality Captain Marvel has been shoved down the throats of comic readers despite her being an extremely boring character and now they're marketing it like she's gonna swoop in a save the day like Superman, another extremely boring character. The problem is Marvel doesn't have the rights to many of their major female heroes, such as Susan Storm, Jean Grey, Storm, etc. They just have She-Hulk. So they decided to push this character to have a recognizable female lead. Sure there probably are people that are not seeing it because they're misogynists, but I doubt that's as big a part of it as people are trying to make it seem. In actuality, they've failed to make an interesting character and are just insulting those that don't like her. It's the same thing that happened when people tried to criticize Black Panther at all.
