I’m going to a community college right now and they don’t have politics science available. If I get an associates In history will i then be able to get a ba in political science?

Instead of taking a bunch of history classes that you may not need simply to get an Associates, just take the gen eds you would need at the university level. There's no rule (that I'm aware) that requires you to have an associates to transfer to the university.

Find the catalog of entry requirements for your Bachelor in Poli Sci, figure out what courses you can take at the CC level to cover as much as you can.

However, be sure that you don't overdo it. My university had a courses in residence requirement. We were required to take at least 50 percent of our major courses at the university as well as 60 semester hours "in residence" (meaning at the university). This was to prevent people from taking a shit ton of easy classes at an easier institution and transferring in for their last semester to get a degree from us.
