I’m a gun owner again.

Your not alone. A long long time ago I got out of the Army and went home. My mom gave me my guns. Then a few months later I realized I was having severe problems adjusting to normal civilian life. I was drinking way to much and having difficult thoughts.

I did the same as you, I gave back the guns to my mom. It took me about a year to get my head right, and get my drinking under control. I've had guns for most of my life and had only that one issue and was very glad for my family's support. Never be afraid to ask a friend or family to hold on to your firearms for you if your going through a difficult period. It's the right, and responsible thing to do.
