I’m having a hard time deciding between the ID.4 and the Niro EV (located in the US).

I'm in a similar boat. Have a base ID4 Pro RWD on order, locked but not produced. Haven't really looked around because Pro S is way more common and I need to purchase in my state to qualify for $2k of incentives.

Ioniq 5 exceeds my state's credit threshold and is too expensive IMO.

So been considering the Niro EV to possibly trade in when the ID4 comes.

ID4 was way roomier and more modern. When the promised software comes, it will charge at a flat 135kW giving it 10-80 of 30 minutes. Range is going up to 280 on the RWD pro with the 2022 models as well. Definitely a good value for cheaper (!) Than the Niro.

That said the Niro seems OK, just a lot cheaper. I feel like it should drop a few thousand with the release of the Ioniq 5 and EV6.

Right now you can get up to 3k incentives off MSRP through Kia.

I'm going to see if I can possibly negotiate further than that.
