“I’m just looking” sales objective advice please

I used to say, “alright no worries, our X is over here and our Y is over here. We’ve got a great sale/deal on Z over here if that’s what you’re looking for. My name is Bob if you have any questions at all!”

Let them look and get ideas but don’t be more than a few feet away ‘organizing’ something just in case they have a quick question. Customers who are interested will buy 80% of the time when you ask them for the sale. Also learn to recognize buying signal questions like “how soon could this be shipped, or does it come assembled, or is there a warranty... any question that alludes to a situation that would occur after the sale means they’ve already envisioned buying it. Go get ‘em!
