I’m married and inexplicably attracted to my doctor

Maybe not the best advice here as I have no direct experience with romantic relationships, but I've heard a good bit of stories like this from others, and the people I know who've gone through this avoided any form of contact with the other person and began focusing on their partner more.

I didnt know them but I once heard a story of a girl who got a job, they didnt have children and her husband worked, and he brought in good money, but why not bring in some more y'know? Execpt she started feeling things for her coworker, and after long consideration, quit her job and began planning ways to spend time with her husband, like bringing him food at work and dinner dates and such, and their relationship grew from that experience.

Perhaps you could try something like that? You're not going to see your doctor constantly anyways so the avoiding contact thing is easy, and when you do, you can distract yourself by making small talk about your husband?

Idk, like I said I have no personal experience with it but I've heard it works for other people
