I wonder if we share some experiences and if so if our opinions overlap.

What is your opinion on others who classify you as one of the races and expect you to handle in a certain way? For example I have been called a typical oppressive white guy who should change far left activists, been called out for not telling the truth as a response to the where are you really from question by otherwise friendly individuals, some friends still make way too many dubious assumptions for my preferences based on my "background" while others with shared cultural background have tried to pressure me to act according to their conservative and nationalist worldvieuws.
Is this just something that happens in the Netherlands or is this something more universal.
