I’m in my early 20s and have very prominent nasolabial folds (besides saggy and dull skin). They appeared almost overnight. Would tretinoin help reduce their appearance?

It’s just that’s where the largest fat pads are to start with so they lose fat the fastest first. The rest change more once the big fat pads are reduced. What is the hormonal or metabolic machinery that does this…I don’t know I’ve just seen a lot of faces at different ages and lot of posts on here and similar subs over time. It’s always the same: beautiful woman 25-30 laments no longer looking like a baby, then learns to enjoy her appearance for the next 15-20 years, then begins to look more gaunt at that time and notices the fat loss again. Meanwhile in between 30 and 50 the complaints are often about skin texture and wrinkles, not overall volume loss.
