So i’m in my last year of high school and i have no idea what the hell im gonna do in uni. Help?

In my experience no company gives a shit about your gpa even right after you graduate. It is just something that the HR cares about and hence it is only useful to get that initial phone call. None of the engineers care about it - they care only about your performance in your interviews.

You just need to be good at a given programming language (including unit testing and design patterns), grind leetcode/hackerrank, have a couple of projects on your github and you will be good for most interviews. Some companies also ask system design questions but that is more open ended and you will be able to do well after watching a few videos on the topic on youtube.
