The ring was my maternal grandmothers, who I share a middle name with, she passed on Easter of 2010. I won’t doll it up, we were not particularly close but my mom wanted me to have the ring. My fiancé proposed to me with it while I was 8 months pregnant at a last minute birthday party/baby shower my friends threw for me. I was 100% caught off guard thinking he’d wait for me to not be pregnant, which he clearly knew and used it to surprise me. I’m not a crier, but it got a tear out of me
