I’m republican and rather not vote for Donald Trump

Well, for starters, must people who support Socialism want Equality. Meaning equal compensation for equal effort.

So when when we see a few people making millions a year while others are starving on the street, this signifies a problem/flaw in our current system.

So the desire for Social really stems from a desire for equality.

Socialism is often described as “Democratizing The Workplace”. The reason it’s called this is because currently, our economic system is modeled like a dictatorship.

You have a few owners at the type of make the decisions, while everyone else works and provides labor but has no vote. This is the opposite of democracy.

In democracy, everyone gets an equal vote. So socialism advocates for this in the workplace. In socialism, the workers are the shareholders. The shareholders get to vote on what they want to happen in the company, and they get the dividends produced by their labor.

In Capitalism, the workers produce the profits and surplus but don’t get to enjoy any of the surplus and profits that they produce. And they get no vote on anything. They are just kinda slaves to the boss.
