I’m thinking about going to film school. Please give me some advice.

Don't go to film school - it's a waster of money, especially for someone with your age, education and experience. That being said, you're not too old. Actually, your age may work in your favour because you're already more mature than most people coming into the industry. The best way to get in if you don't have contacts is to start from the bottom. Try to look for production assistant jobs, office PA's or runners. It's not glamorous work by any means but if you keep your head down and just do what you're told, you'll move up fast. The next step is knowing exactly what you want to do. The film industry is so broad and there is so much you can do. Having clear and realistic goals makes everything much easier. I hope this helps. Good luck!
