Even if you’re just trying to help, here’s why a comment like this isn’t appreciated.

People with higher libidos than that of their partners don’t just want to fuck any random person. We have real relationships that we’re still in for good reasons. The reasons vary, but usually it’s because we’ve built something real and good and valuable that we are hesitant to give up on unless we’ve really exhausted all our options.

So to just casually suggest that two people in the same situation would “work” makes us feel like you’re reducing us to our sex drives, and honestly, it’s hurtful.
