If you believe your denomination is all right, you’re wrong. This. We have different takes on things, but at the end of the day us being apart of THE church takes precedence. If there is a conflict with the denominational stance or what a local church says with the Bible, the Bible takes precedence.

I think a big point of confusion is like all denominations. I think of it like a venn diagram, where Christian is in the center, and all the other circles are different denominations. You can be a Christian and be Protesant, Catholic, etc., but you can also be a Protestant, Catholic, etc. and no be a Christian too. As long as the Bible comes first and church beliefs come second, we're good. Catholicism just so happens to have some beliefs that conflict with the Bible imo, but you reject those beliefs and accept the others while still putting the Biblical truth first.
