I’m very staunchly conservative, AMA

Ending no fault divorce would go a long way. Ending alimony (very antiquated and useless). I think having a rule that couples seeking divorce be forced to pursue other alternatives (counselling, that sorta thing), but obviously not in cases of things like abuse. Tax incentives for kids… and meaningful incentives, not stupid shit like a $20 tax credit every week. I mean like “no income tax the first 5 years of being a parent if you stay married”. One of the biggest common denominators for needing government assistance is single parent households. I’d also have welfare laws that once you go on welfare, children you have while on welfare wouldn’t be eligible for additional assistance
