I’m a VFX Artist, and I’m Tired of Getting ‘Pixel-F–ked’ by Marvel

Turns out they’d rather pay the absolute minimum amount to third parties to get the most mediocre look possible, strictly enforced across all projects. God forbid any studio try to do anything actually creative, Marvel will just pixelfuck it to death and then change the entire scene so even the corpse of that time someone dared to think creatively is gone.

Really? So what are your criteria for visual effects being creative? What's the difference between a superhero shooting out magical beams in a creative way and a mediocre way?

Marvel Studios could literally put out the best movie ever made tomorrow and people like you would still say this, so I have a hard time taking it seriously
