My name is Jack, and I wasn’t really planning on coming to this wedding. While the bride was my cousin, we weren’t exactly close. In all honesty, I wasn’t very close with anyone now that I was attending college and living on campus. I think her name was Elly, but I definitely recognized her face. It was hard to forget that beautiful smile of hers, or the surprising curves of her otherwise lithe body, which looked especially good in that dress today. I could think of no better test subject.

See, the reason I had decided to attend the wedding last minute had nothing to do with my cousin, but the app I had so recently downloaded. I’d found it while exploring the dark-net, and the claims of what it could do where unbelievable. Still, an entire community had popped up around it, so there had to be something to it. After running multiple virus scans on it, I was nearly certain it was safe for my phone, though I still wasn’t sure it could really access and control minds. Only way to find out was to test it, and being a weirdo introvert, the wedding was the only real social event where I could do so without standing out like a sore thumb. It was a fortunate choice; I never even dreamed I would be able to try it out on a pretty girl like Elly.

As the ceremony was underway, I pulled out my phone and began fiddling with the app. Once I got it tuned in to Elly, the list of command options became available. I could tell the app was programmed by fellow nerds, as the interface looked like a menu out of an rpg. There where even “levels” I had to achieve before I could unlock most of the options. For now, all I could do was chat with Elly’s subconscious, or force her to relive a memory. So, couldn’t exactly make her flash those creamy tits at me, but with a little creativity, I could still have some fun, assuming it worked. The best start seemed to be getting to know Elly better, so I chose the subconscious option.

But what to ask her? After looking around for ideas, I typed, “What do you think of weddings?” That seemed kind of lame, though I went ahead and sent it. I could have easily found that out chatting her up at the reception, if I could find the nerve. No, I wanted to get the really juicy info. “What do you really think of your boyfriend?” That’s more like it. If I was going to get the kind of entertainment I wanted out of this app, I’d need to learn more about her sexuality. “Do you have any sex fantasies? Ever thought of cheating on your boyfriend?” That should be interesting, if it works. I then wondered idly if she even remembered who I was. “Do you recall meeting a guy named Jack at school?” After sending that one, I remembered about the second option. Knowing so little about Elly, I wasn’t sure where to begin, but perhaps her memory of our meeting was better than mind, so I tried using the second option to search for it while waiting for her subconscious to respond.
