[Maaddi] Eagles GM Howie Roseman says Jalen Hurts has earned the starting QB job for 2022.

Possibly. But that doesn’t change anything from my comment, he still showed a ton of growth and improvement to actually being a good QB through the season. There’s a reason PFF rated him the 11th best QB this year - even 17th if you take only passing ability into account and ignore everything else.

I wish our fanbase was as reasonable as others. I don’t see any cardinals fans calling for Murray’s head en masse even though he obviously looked worse Monday than Hurts on Sunday, or Jags fans already calling for Trevor Lawrence to be gone after an altogether bad season. Seems like only the eagles fans expect greatness to be immediate and don’t understand that success at the QB level usually takes seasons to accomplish.
