Mac or Windows?

I use whatever tool I think seems to best fit the job at hand. I personally enjoy the Windows and Mac UIs as they are well-polished and easy-to-use. If I'm on Linux or BSD I'll use KDE or XFCE (but never, never GNOME3... it disappoints me every time I try it, which makes me sad because I actually like its philosophy). Cinnamon and MATE are pretty nice too but I don't use them much. If I need something lightweight but with graphical capabilities I'll go with something like xmonad and a terminal emulator. I'm not particularly interested in doing too much configuration of anything because I don't really have the time and firmly believe that there are professionals out there who have done it much better. If I don't need graphics at all I prefer to go with a basic tty -- I can live on a cli if I have to and have done so plenty of times in the past.
