Specwise, most PCs are better than Macs(just compare a $2.000 mac to a $2.000 PC)

You said you can get an older Mac for cheaper and you said that it was $900, well, that's costing you the amount you'd be spending on a high-end setup.

You can chose to buy a cheaper, more expensive, mechanical or not keyboard. And if you are talking about laptops, most of them are ok, and you still can connect a better one via USB.

Also, who uses trackpads?? I assumed everyone uses mice.

Privacy: buddy, if you do not stay all day on DuckDuckGo, without using google products/facebook/etc you have the same amount of privacy as on a PC.

Games/apps/programs are better on PCs, plus there are many more options to chose from.
