Mad God: why would a god set that world as an intention?

great response, so the mad god is the one asking to be prayed to and has behavior laws or are you referring to the abrahamic cults?

the mad god seems oblivious of all that. the idea of an evil god isn't new either, but if god wanted to create a good life for his creations, at some point, you have to reach the question of free will. and if he gives them control over their actions and desires, what do they do with it?

i call this "passing the baton" then if misery is created who's fault is it? accidents, or chaos of some kind, will always happen that people can learn not to repeat. is this then a reflection of god, if so, then it isn't hard to see the mad god. but i'm not sure how a healthy god's work would be any different, except that he takes away people's right to figure things out for themselves.

i'm not sure in which case is god a tyrant. he gives you life for you to mess up and suffer from, or removes your right to choice but give you what you need to live life according to some ethic.
