Why did you quit Google? This may be a bit harsh, but here it is:

If you were a backend engineer and don't have the knowledge to publish a polished product using Javascript, how the f*ck you think your students can learn Javascript properly.

Being a backend engineer is not an excuse. And also really want to know why you quit for teaching.

Your profile analysis: You got pess karma, only 3y profile. Most ur posts are about learning japanese. There is no proper post where you pulished a polished tool or even a good script. Also to point out, if you were a good dev, you probably would have more shares, karma and posts about your good projects instead of asking 'looking for students'. Google devs dont look for students, students look for them. Where is your public valid profile? Can we have your real name to be sure you're not just collecting user data?

To conclude, either you got thrown away for poor quality work, or you're lying about being a google dev. and doing a good social engineering on reddit.
