I made a video summarizing all of Korea's (major) history in 12 minutes.

A comment that I made onto your video got removed for some reason.

Anyway, here are a couple corrections:

Buddhism was popular in Korea long before Goryeo came around. The golden age of Buddhism in Korea was during Later Silla.

Confucianism was also present and popular in Korea long before Joseon came around.

These points may seem like nitpicking, but they're actually quite important because they're ideologies/religions that influenced all aspects of Korean society, so it matters that they were influencing Korea 300-500 years earlier than mentioned in your video.

Also, Korea invented multiple writing systems before the creation of Hangul. They were syllabaries though, not an alphabet, and they were used in conjunction with Chinese characters. Hangul can be thought of as the final evolution of these.

Anyway, you did a very nice job on your video and I bet it'll be very informative for people with no exposure to Korean history, which is the vast majority of the world outside of Korea. I hope you can take a bit of my well-intentioned criticism. I'm not asking for my youtube comment to be reverted. If it offended you then I would delete it myself. I just hope you take note of my points and keep them in mind for future videos about the subject. Thanks, and keep up the good work.
