In a world where infanticide is rampant because no one has the means or time in harsh conditions to raise the disabled a new religion was born. Katholics declared infanticide a sin and that all malformed and disabled were welcomed into the kingdom of God. They preached that a great salvation awaited them and to forsake their physical forms and worldly possessions. For they would receive God's everlasting love if they would promise their souls through baptism. The blind saw through new macabre eyes that burst through their skulls and the crippled walked regardless with the skeletal structure cracked and snapped to achieve movement.

Katholics didn't simply bury their dead but they created giant catacombs under their civilized cities and mausoleums where supposed dead saints or necromancers were strung up on the walls next to their child slaves. Great cathedrals with bone constructs hung from the ceilings the skulls and bones and spines of the dead twisted into beautiful chandeliers.

They feared not death or plague for their worldly bodies were not fit to enter heaven and their souls were already promised Kod. Priests and Kardinals performed dark rituals involving the molestation of infants to harness the control of the masses of dead their plagues reaped on their unwitting followers. For they served not a master of love or restraint but one that desired only control and death. Followers of Kod are the most deceitful and will use symbols of religious importance to bend others to their will.

There's a lot of other gods but the power or magic is always from the worshippers and how they worship will determine what kind of God they attract. I'm also trying to bring to light the horrors of bad practices in all religions and why they may have came about.
